$1 Million Ticket in Olmos Park

It’s not the big jackpot, but there’s a lot of excitement at a convenience store in Olmos Park.

Olmos Mart on McCullough sold a Powerball ticket that matched 5 of the Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday night, making it worth at least $1 million.

When we called Thursday morning, manager Ricky Momin had no idea some lucky customer had purchased a $1 million ticket at the store.

” I don’t know. Nobody called me and I didn’t check out the news,” said Momin.

He did say the store was busier than usual. Several customers were stopping by to check their Powerball numbers.

“There’s a lot of excitement. Everybody’s asking me who won, but I don’t know,” Momin told KTSA News.

Three other tickets matching five numbers in the Powerball drawing were sold in Houston, Dallas and Decatur,Texas.

It’s a 3-way split in the overall $1.5 billion prize. Tickets sold in Munford, Tennessee, Melbourne Beach, Florida and Chino Hills, California matched all 5 numbers and the Powerball.

The winning numbers are 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and the Powerball, 10.
