2-Alarm Fire Displaces Several Families

The Red Cross is helping some Eastside families displaced by a 2-alarm fire not far from the AT&T Center.

Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire shortly before 5 this morning at an apartment complex on Bethlehem Walk near East Commerce and Coca Cola Place.

Two dozen crews responded and it didn’t take long to extinguish the flames, but firefighters remained on the scene for a couple of hours as they ventilated several apartments affected by smoke.

No injuries reported.
