2 Dead, 3 Wounded in Eastside Shooting

Two people are dead–three more shot and wounded after gunfire erupts on the Eastside.

It happened just before Midnight Tuesday on Larry Street–near North Walters and I-35–where a white Ford Taurus was riddled with bullets.

San Antonio Police said the driver was pronounced dead at San Antonio Military Medical Center–while a backseat passenger was dead at the scene. A front seat passenger and two others in the backseat suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The survivors told police a person on foot opened fire on the car.
