An Amber Alert was issued for six-week-old Shamali Flores after her mother was found stabbed to death in her apartment Tuesday.

Police believed the baby might be with her father, but they tracked him down in San Antonio. He told police he had nothing to do with the child’s murder or the disappearance of his baby girl.

This morning, Houston police tweeted tha the baby had been located at a southwest Houston apartment.

They say she appeared unharmed and is being checked at a hospital as a precaution.
