More than two-decades later--a San Antonio area father continues to search for justice for his murdered daughter.
It was May 17, 1992 when police were called to Brenda Epperson's Universal City Boulevard apartment--and discovered her body.
"It's just time we find somebody who knows something about this" Charles Epperson told 550 KTSA News. He said his 24 year old daughter was well on her way in life--when it was all ended far too soon.
"She had a raise coming up--and she was just on her way" Epperson said, his emotion obvious.
"She was just a normal person. She went to school. Graduated from college. Had a good job" Epperson said. She worked as an insurance adjuster--and had just returned from a trip to storm-battered Kansas a little more than two weeks before her murder.
"She was up there for the whole month of April--and came back the 1st of May. The 17th, she was dead.'
Epperson said the wait for justice has been frustrating and agonizing--with one arrest and resulting conviction in the case already overturned. Anyone with any information on the murder of Brenda Epperson is urged to call Crimestoppers at 224-7867.
