Along with other CPS Energy executives, CEO Doyle Beneby makes significantly less than his counterparts in comparably sized utility companies.
That's according to a salary survey commissioned last Spring by the utility's board of trustees,
This is among the issues addressed at the utility's board meeting Friday.
CPS Energy spokeswoman Lisa Lewis said a proposal has been anticipated to extend Beneby's contract, which runs through July. However, she adds, it is not expected that Beneby will be offered a significant salary increase.
