San Antonio's City Council is set to take up several ordinances on plans for Hemisfair Park--with critics keeping a close eye on the happenings at City Hall.
In fact, one local historian is putting out a call for more transparency.
"It has heritage... it was paret of the Alamo Battle" said Lance Aaron--who told 550 KTSA News he believes development plans for the park should be put before voters.
"How many residential units, where are the residential units going to be placed, the heights of the residential units--I think all of that should be part of an open, transparent discussion" Aaaron said.
Council is set to hold a public hearing before voting on a number of ordinances Thursday--including one which would appoint all Councilmembers to the Board of Directors of Hemisfair Public Park Facilities--witht he Mayor serving as President.
