Hello I'm Chris! The Associate Producer for the Kevin Wall Radio Experience and Producer for Ricci Ware's "Boomers & Shakers." In addition, I amTechnical Director for several of KTSA's weekend shows. Other duties include cleaning the kitchen, checking tower lights, and anything else the boss needs done. I also have an opinion and here I'll share it.
What a Monday this has been! It has been a non-stop, action-packed day, and we’re just getting started for the week. The health care debate, and discussion continues. The one true element of all of this that actually is “bipartisan”, is the bickering. Watching, and listening to all the arguments, really takes me back to my childhood. Growing up with my older brother, Marcus, everything bad was my fault. Everything good was because of him. It’s just a bunch of finger pointing, and blame shifting. In that case, I need to run for office. I have an abundance of political experience. The primaries are in their final stretch, and today’s show was all over them. Congressional, Gubernatorial, Republican and Democrat we had them all. We’ll be covering the elections Tuesday evening, right after Kevin Wall’s show. On top of all this, we gave away tickets to Dave Ramsey’s “Total Money Makeover”, for this Saturday at the Freeman Coliseum. The primaries themselves have been supercharged, and after tomorrow I don’t believe there will be any slowing down. I expect the mud to start flying full force once we know who the candidates are. We have enough to talk about with the day-to-day news, but election times get a little crazy at the station. So much to talk about, and so many people to talk to. It makes for very short, yet extremely hectic workdays. I love my job!
