Lightning sparks house fire on San Antonio’s Northwest side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A powerful thunderstorm that rocked the region Monday afternoon is being blamed for a house fire on the Northwest side.
15 units were called to a home in the 8400 block of Timber Crest just after 5 P.M.
Firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly but the flames did about $150,000 worth of damage.
No injuries were reported and the residents were not home at the time.
