Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is expected to miss 10 to 14 days because of a strained left hamstring. The injury occured during the second quarter of Sunday's 106 to 88 victory over the Timberwolves.
Teammate Danny Green says the bench players will have to step it up.
"Our bench does have to come in and bring energy. We can't have any let downs," said Green.
Ginobili has had his share of injuries this season, including back spasms, a thigh bruise and a sore foot in the preseason.
He scored 12 points in 12 minutes of play with 5 assists Sunday before limping off the court.
"He's been playing really well for us. It sucks that he got hurt," said Green.
The Manu-less Spurs will host Memphis Wednesday night at the AT&T Center.
