More Flights at SA Intl

By Bill O'Neil

Getting from here to there will soon get easier--if here is San Antonio--and there is New Orleans.

Southwest Airlines, which already plans non-stop flights between the Alamo City and the Big Easy over Thanksgiving Week--will continue with weekly non-stop flights through April 7th--when that offering will become a daily occurence.

"This New Orleans flight is actually Southwest's 16th daily flight out of San Antonio, and we're hoping their growth and our growth will continue" said San ANtonio International Airport's Nora Castro. She told 550 KTSA News the move is a winner all the way around.

"It's a great sign not only of Southwest's commitment to San Antonio--but also that San Antonio and Southwest have a great partnership" Castro said.
