SA Food Bank Hits the Streets

The San Antonio Food Bank is taking it to the streets to fight hunger.  Kraft Foods donated a mobile pantry truck and ten-thousand dollars to the charity to help get food to families in neighborhoods where access to a pantry is limited.  Food Bank representatives say 15-percent of the community faces food insecurity and one in four children are at risk of going hungry.
The mobile pantry will bring more than 2.7 million pounds of healthy nutrition to the area's hungry residents each year.
A long time supporter of the San Antonio Food Bank, H-E-B will help fill the truck with donated food.
The truck is part of a nationwide fleet being rolled out by Kraft Foods Foundation.
