You can expect the run-up in prices at San Antonio gas pumps to coninue for the next couple of months.
The analysts at Gasbuddy.com told 550 KTSA News bitterly cold temperatures in much of the country did keep prices reasonably low for a little while longer than usual.
"That created kind of a temporary plateau in gas prices up until this past week" said Gasbuddy.com's Gregg Laskoski.
Yearly maintenance operations have begun at Gulf Coast refinieries--which is expected keep upward pressure on prices over the next several weeks. Mwanwhile, European oil will also add to the equation.
"It's likely we're going to see a little bit less Brent Crude making it's way in to the United States, and we're likely to see a little bit more (of our crude) being exported" Laskoski said.
