43 year old Albert Anthony Campbell was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and charged with the murder of 53-year-old Jose "Joe" Figueroa.
The victim's decomposed body was found Saturday evening on Roddy Road in Southeast Bexar County.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner has positively identified the body and ruled the cause of death multiple stab wounds," said Paul Berry, spokesman for the sheriff's Office.
Berry said the investigation is ongoing.
