One of Nascar's top guns is making the case for his car to race just up the road at the Circuit of the Americas.
Three time season champ and owner of his own team Tony Stewart said he's been paying close attention to what's been happening at the track--even if he's personally not been there yet.
"Other than watching on tv--but I mean the last two years we've been glued to the tv" Stewart said, adding he likes what he's been seeing in the Formula One races. He told 550 KTSA News he'd love to see a Cup race there.
"I'm a big advocate for that... I'd love to push to get us a Cup race there" Stewart said, forseeing a great experience.
"Turn one looks like...I would say cautions would breed cautions in Nascar races in turn one" Stewart said with a laugh.
