VIA's buses will continue to make stops in Castle Hills--thanks to the promise of some big upgrades.
"We're excited about having the opportunity to partner with them (Castle Hills)" said VIA's Priscilla Ingle, who told 550 KTSA News a deal is near between the transit agency and city leaders, thanks to a new initiative.
"We're creating the Suburban City Infrastructure Funding Program that's going to allow us not only to callaborate and partner with the City of Castle Hills, but we'll also be working with the other suburban cities" Ingle said.
Castle Hills is slated to get a $380,000 piece of the $2 million program. That cash will be used on bus stop and street improvements.
