Abbott: No Interest in Judicial Pick

He’s firmly behind Donald Trump’s run for the White House.

The word from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who explained his decision to endorse Trump to KTSA’s Jack Riccardi.

“Candidly, I really don’t know Donald Trump–or his decision making process” Abbott told Riccardi, adding “What I do know… is Hillary Clinton would extend–or worse–the Obama agenda. We don’t need eight more years of Barack Obama.”

There has been much speculation Abbott could be in line for a judicial appointment. When asked if he would be interested in leaving for Washington–the Governor’s answer was a clear “no.”

“I am interested in one thing. That is being Govenror of the greatest state in the United States–and, that Texas remains the model (for the rest of the country)” Abbott said.
