Additional U.S. Troops to Syria

HANNOVER, Germany (AP) – President Barack Obama says he’s sending up to 250 more troops to Syria to help in the fight against the Islamic State group.

Obama says the additional troops, added to the 50 already there, will “keep up this momentum” against IS.

The president made the announcement at a trade fare today in Hannover, Germany.
