Another Budget Open House

It takes care of some long standing problems with some forward thinking items thrown in.

City Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran tells us that’s what she likes most about the City Manager’s budget proposal for 2017.

She feels her district is being well represented with the package that addresses the animal control and sidewalk problems that have been an ongoing issue.

She adds she looks forward to some items that help with tuition reimbursement and adding some paid and family leave.

An open house for Southside resident to speak up on the budget is being held at 5:30 this evening at the Southside Lions Community Center on Hiawatha Street.
