Nice Attack Hits Close to Home

Another terrorist attack in France, and this time it has hit close to home in Texas.

CBS News is reporting that an Austin-area father and son killed in the attack in Nice, France have been identified as Sean, 51,  and Brodie, 11, Copeland.

Family spokesman Jess Davis released a statement which said, ““We are heartbroken and in shock over the loss of Brodie Copeland, an amazing son and brother who lit up our lives, and Sean Copeland, a wonderful husband and father,” the statement said. “They are so loved.”

Hill Country baseball, where Brodie played, is asking for prayer for the family.

At least 80 people died in the attack, and the number keeps rising as many more have been seriously injured.

So incredibly sad.  Innocent people continue to be targets of this killing machine.
