It’s been 6 years since a team of U-S Special Forces killed Osama Bin Laden. How much did that help in ending the war on terror?
According to Terrorism Expert Jeffrey Addicott at St. Mary’s University, it was a missed opportunity.
Addicott tells us the Obama administration failed to follow through after Bin Laden was killed.
“He continued the course of this fiction that we’re going to build a democracy of some sort in Afghanistan. Of course most people will tell you that’s impossible.”
Addicott says once Bin Laden was killed President Obama should have announced the U.S was leaving Afghanistan and left with a victory. He says due to those serious missteps, winning the war on terror is nearly impossible.
