Birthday Concert to Honor David Molak

The death of 16 year old David Molak touched many lives and brought attention to the issue behind his choice to end his own life. Bullying.

For months before his death, David was bullied online by classmates. Today would have been his 17th birthday and to remember him, an area student has organized a concert featuring members of the San Antonio Symphony.

Abigail Dickson tells us she never met David but knows one of his cousins. She says the impact David’s suicide had on his family and friends and wanted to do something to make a difference.

Tonight’s concert will feature several well known classical pieces as well as music David loved. It’s also a fundraiser for the David’s Legacy Foundation.

Along with the music there will be food and prizes as they celebrate David’s short life.

You can be a part of it by stopping by Christ Episcopal Church at 510 Belknap Place. It starts at 6 and admission is whatever you want to donate.
