Body Found in San Pedro Creek

We now know who he is–the question–how did he get there?

The question San Antonio Police are trying to answer after 36-year old Gary Harriosn’s body was found in the San Pedro Creek trash rake off of Camaron Friday Morning.

“When the maintenance crew came here to do their daily inspection, they located the body of a male–it appears to be a white male in his mid to late thirties” Officer Douglas Greene told KTSA News.

“At this point, we’re still trying to determine whether this is weather related. In these particular incidents, we have or homicide detectives come out to rule out any kind of foul play” Greene added.

The Medical Examiner is also taking a closer look, and will work on identifying the man, as well as what caused his death.

“We’re also researching our past calls to see if there’s anything related to anybody missing–or, anybody falling in to San Pedro Creek at times when the weather was really bad” Greene said.
