The Border and the Brussels Attack

The man at the top of the Texas Department of Public Safety has his eyes on the Southern Border in the aftermath of the attack on Brussels.

“It was a cowardly attack by terrorists” Steven McCraw told a Congressional Committee taking a closer look at border security, adding “It pointed out our hearts and prayers are with the Brussels victims.”

McCraw said the Governor and Texas Legislature understand the risks of a border that is not secure.

“Our minds must realize the consequences of open borders. Our resolve must be security” McCraw said.

“What happens on the Texas-Mexico Border doesn’t just affect Texas… or even just the border region. It affects the entire nation” McCraw added.
