Brady Slams Oil Tax Plan

“A horrible idea,” that’s what Congressman Kevin Brady called a new proposed tax on energy.

“A huge waste of time, it’ll never see the light of day because my committee is going to stop it cold,” Brady said.

He said this President continues to hammer the pocketbooks of Americans “while killing good paying energy jobs we need.”

“President Obama wants you to pay more at the pump, soccer moms, local businesses, young people, just to pump up his Global Warming plans,” he said.

Brady claims this tax was leaked from the President’s 2017 Budget draft. Brady said it’s part of a continued war on American-made energy.

“This President is doing his level-best to keep American families from having access to affordable energy,” Brady said. “And I’ve made it clear, this terrible idea is dead on arrival in the House.”
