Brady: Our Union Isn’t Strong

Congressman Kevin Brady says the State of the Union is not strong, despite what President Obama will say on Tuesday night.

“I expect President Obama to double down on gun control Tuesday night,” Brady said. “Tell us how great his healthcare law is working; tell us how his economy, the worst in a half century; the global warming Paris accords and his terrible Iran Nuclear Deal are just wonderful.”

But Brady said the President couldn’t be further from the truth.

“President Obama’s obsession with bigger government, increased spending, and higher taxes have led to the worst economic recovery in a half century,” Brady said.

And he said the healthcare law has hurt more than it’s helped.

“With rising costs, millions of Americans are being kicked off their plans, and local businesses forced to cut workers and cut wages just to stay open.”
