Bus Crash Hurts Two People

A very close call for some students aboard a Boerne ISD school bus Wednesday Morning.

“The driver says the roads were slick and he lost control” James Keith with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News, describing the crash near I-10 and Ralph Fair Road.

“The bus left the roadway… ended up turning on it’s side before landing in a brushy area off of the road” Keith added.

Two special needs students who were aboard the bus a the time of the crash were not hurt.

“There were two adults who were on the bus–the driver and a monitor–both of them did suffer some minor injuries” Keith said.

That bus had been enroute to pick up a few more students–before it was to eventually arrive at Champion High School.
