Brexit and Your Overseas Trip

The British exit from the European Union may mean cheap vacations to the UK.

Billy Sanez from Farecompare dot-com says British political turmoil has lowered trip prices.

“Not only are we seeing fares being good fares, but also hotels are actually at good rates right now.”

He says tourists can take advantage of the UK’s struggling currency.

“The pound is down about 15 percent compared to the dollar. So, for travelers, it’s actually a really good deal.”

But he warns that UK vacations won’t be cheap for long.

“What I know will change in the future, and for perhaps later this year, is that fares will go up.”
