Why Can’t Some Millennials Accept Trump’s Victory?

The can’t even…but they’re going to have to learn.

Young voters across the country are having a hard time coming to grips with the Trump victory on election day.

Dr. Allan Saxe at UT Arlington says what we’re seeing is a generation that has been conditioned to have a dramatic emotional reaction when they don’t get their way.

He says what these protestors need to remember is that Trump supporters have spent the past 8 years under an administration they didn’t like but they learned to deal with it. A task now facing the Anti-Trump protestors.

Dr. Saxe says peaceful protest are a wonderful part of our democracy but real change comes form taking action. He recommends volunteering at Homeless Shelters, Food Banks, Soup Kitchens or even donating blood will give you purpose and make you feel better about your place in the world.
