Cars Hit by Bullets at Sheriff’s Office

Someone was shooting at cars Wednesday night near the sheriff’s office.

Those cars belonged to Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies.

“Just before midnight, our deputies inside the jail heard some gunfire,” BCSO’s James Keith told KTSA News. “Our perimeter officers went to check it out, that’s when they found shell casings and they found three employee vehicles had been shot.”

Investigators have surveillance footage and are trying to figure out who the shooter is.

“We have been able to notice that there was a light colored SUV that was in the area that sped away and then a couple people that ran off into Haven for Hope,” he said.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help, if you know anything about this.

“Right now, we are treating it as though somebody intended to shoot vehicles at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office,” Keith said.
