Chief Disciplines Hat Wearing Officers

A written reprimand, counseling and some training.

That’s the outcome for 17 San Antonio Police Officers who wore some Make America Great Again hats when Donald trump was in town.

Chief William McManus says the officers actions are inconstant with the Department’s principals.

Along with the written reprimand and counseling, the officers will receive training on how to stay impartial while performing official duties.

In a statement explaining the actions against the officers the Chief wrote that the Officers used poor judgement and they will continue to work to remain and national model for Police agencies across the country.
