City Reaches Settlement

A settlement has been reached between the city of San Antonio and the family of a person injured in a car crash.

This started in April of last year when the car Tomekia Baldwin was in collided with a city owned vehicle driven by a San Antonio Police Officer who was transporting Mayor Taylor.

The collision happened at an East side intersection and Baldwin suffered permanent brain damage as a result. Her family settled with the city for $200,000.

There is still another lawsuit pending with someone else who was injured in the wreck.
