Coach Pop Not Expecting Leonard Return This Season

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich says he’d be surprised if forward Kawhi Leonard returns to the game this season.

Leonard has played in only nine games this season while trying to recover from a quadriceps injury.

The all-star missed the first 27 games of the season, and after a brief return, he was taken out till further notice on January 17th.

Popovich said that if Leonard returns, it’ll be “pretty late in the season.”
