Cornyn Slams Obama on Terrorism

In the wake of the attack that left more than 80 people dead and dozens more injured, the senior U.S. senator from Texas warns that the Obama administration isn’t doing enough to fight terrorism.

“Unless we develop a more effective strategy of defeating ISIS and its poisonous ideology in the Middle East, and unless we do more to equip our law enforcement and counterterrorism officials here in the homeland, things like this are going to continue to happen,” declared Senator John Cornyn.

He told KTSA’s Trey Ware that “lone wolves” will use any means and any weapon to kill their targets.

“Could be a gun, could be a knife, could be a car, but they’re going to kill as many people as they can,” Cornyn said on the Trey Ware Morning Show on KTSA.

A man drove a big truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice Thursday. He got out and opened fire, killing at least 84 people dead.
