Council Set to Vote on Pre K for SA Budget

By Don Morgan

It created a lot of controversy when it first came along but since then, Pre-K for SA has proven quite successful.

That’s according to several City Council members who got a briefing on the programs budget on Wednesday.

Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran says the programs success from inception to today is due to a huge effort of the staff and supporters.

She says you can see how well the program is working to get 4 year olds ready for Kindergarten and she would like to see it continue.

City Council will vote on the Pre-K for SA 40 million dollar budget Thursday.
