Deputies Use Tear Gas to End Standoff

A man is charged with aggravated assault after holding officers at bay for several hours in Southeast Bexar County.

The standoff began last evening when a repo crew tried to tow away a vehicle outside a home on Stuart Road near Highway 181.

The owner is accused of firing shots.

Nobody was hurt, but when Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, several people barricaded themselves inside the home.
