Deputy Seguin PD Chief Hit by Shrapnel in Las Vegas Shooting

By Bill O’Neil

We’re learning Seguin’s Deputy Police Chief is among those who was hurt during Sunday Night’s shooting rampage in Las Vegas.

Bruce Ure took to Facebook to say he’s ok in the aftermath of the rampage that killed more than 50 people–and injured more than 400 others.

Ure, who was apparently at the Route 91 Music Festival compared what happened at the concert to a war zone. He said a piece of shrapnel hit his hand, but the injury is minor.

Ure guessed as many as 400 to 500 shots were fired. He also said the shooter was staying 22 floors directly above his room at the Mandalay Bay.
