Details and Video on The Passing of Alan Thicke – – TREY

Alan Thicke, best known for his role as Jason Seaver on “Growing Pains” has died of a heart attack at age 69.

According to media sources, Thicke was playing hockey with one of his sons yesterday around 11:30am when he began to experience chest pains. He vomited and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he died.

Not only is Thicke remembered for his roles on television, but also for writing the theme songs for “Wheel of Fortune” “Diff’rent Strokes” and “The Facts of Life.”

Born in Canada, Thicke recently received the “Canadian Icon Award.”

He is survived by his wife and three sons.
