Drainage Project Complete

One San Antonio neighborhood is a lot safer now that flood control improvements have wrapped up.

City Councilman Mike Gallagher says the Quail Creek Tributary Drainage project was paid for with a 4.9 million dollar bond.

“I’m really impressed with the way the city has handled the flood control issue. I’m also impressed with the voters, who approve the bonds to pay for these projects because they realize they are important.”

The project included channel and bridge improvements in Quail creek from Barrington to Loop 410.
