Experts: Gas Prices Will Come Down Once Supply Stabilizes

By Pilar Arias

Gas prices and availability consumed the Labor Day weekend news in San Antonio.

“Average price in San Antonio $2.55 per gallon today that’s up 42 cents a gallon from the $2.13 it cost a week ago,” GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan said.

The massive increase in demand and effects of Hurricane Harvey are being attributed to the jump in prices.

Gas prices are expected to come down this week.
