Finalist for Southside ISD

Southside ISD Trustees have pick a lone superintendent finalist.

“Mr. Mark Eads was voted as the lone finalist (Saturday) at a special board meeting,” Southside ISD’s Sylvia Rincon told KTSA News.

Southside has been working with the Texas Association of School Boards since December 1st, looking for a permanent superintendent.

“We had as many as 58 applicants who applied for the job at Southside ISD,” she said.

Eads was one of six interviewed, then it was cut to three…finally, Eads was selected as the lone finalist.

He’s currently the Superintendent at San Marcos Consolidated ISD.

There’s now a 21 day vetting process of the lone finalist, before the board will take another, final vote.
