Fire South of Downtown San Antonio

Firefighters are battling a blaze at a restaurant and bar just south of downtown on S. St. Mary’s near Madison.

Twelve crews have been dispatched to the fire that broke out around 6:40 a.m. Monday.

Flames were shooting through the roof when the first crews arrived.  The major part of the fire is under control, but crews are taking care of hot spots.
