Food Bank Expanding to New Braunfels

As the city of New Braunfle s continues to grow, so does the need for services form the San Antonio Food Bank.

Food Bank President and CEO Eric Cooper says they have broken ground on a new 28,000 square foot facility that will help many hungry families in that area.

Cooper tells us along with the warehouse, the new food bank will have a full service kitchen and a community garden.

The New Braunfels Food bank will open in January of 2017.
