Fort Worth police chasing stolen car during rush hour

A man in a stolen SUV led Fort Worth police on a 45 minute chase Monday afternoon.

WFAA reports the vehicle was stolen in Fort Worth and the driver took it onto I-35 south toward Hillsboro.

The left two tires eventually came apart and the SUV came to a rolling stop in Ellis County.

The driver got out and tried to run, but tripped over himself and fell to the ground.
