Gas Prices Moving Up Across Texas

Gas prices are on the rise across the Lone Star State ahead of the long Memorial Day Weekend.

AAA Texas said the Statewide average price per gallon of regular unleaded has moved up by one-cent over the last week.

The San Antonio average has climbed by two-cents–but at $2.15 per gallon it remains among the lowest in Texas right now.

The biggest jump over the last week was seen in Corpus Christi, where prices moved up by seven-cents per gallon on average. The average price actually fell by a cent ion El Paso, and held mostly steady in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The State’s highest average prices can be found in both of the areas right now.

The lowest average gas prices are currently in Beaumont and Texarkana.
