Ground Broken on New Westside Sheriff’s Substation

Ground has been broken on a new Sheriff’s Office substation in West Bexar County.

“There are a lot of people who thought this would never happen” Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said, adding “Commissioners have worked closely with us, and it is becoming a reality.”

The Sheriff said the now under construction substation will eventually cut down on response times, while giving those living nearby better access to law enforcement.

“We’ll (the substation) serve the South and West parts of the County. It will be at Cagnon Road and Highway 90” Pamerleau said.
