Guillermo Wants More Fiesta

Guillermo Rodriguez is back in Hollywood with fond memories of San Antonio, Fiesta and good food after a brief weekend visit.

“I had a lot of fun. Here in San Antonio, the people are very friendly and I hope I can come back maybe next year,” Rodriguez told KTSA News.

The sidekick on ABC TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! was the Grand Marshal of the Fiesta Flambeau Parade billed as the largest illuminated parade in the country.

“It was awesome. It was great. There were a lot of people,” he said.

Rodriguez was rather surprised at his recognizability.

“Everybody was saying , ‘Hey Guillermo, hey Guillermo.’ That made me so happy,” Rodriguez said.
