More Heavy Rain Wednesday Afternoon/Night

By Bill O’Neil

Could we see more heavy rain in and around the San Antonio area Wednesday Afternoon?

The National Weather Service said localized pockets of heavy rain are possible through Midnight, with a few strong storms also possible.

Storms are expected to taper off and become more scattered this evening–though minor flooding of creeks, streams and low water crossings is possible–especially in areas that have already been hit by heavy rains over the past few days.

Forecasters said 1-3 inches of rain is possible in the hardest hit areas, with a few storms possibly producing nickel-size hail and wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour.
