Huebner Creek Flood Project Complete

A portion of the County’s Flood Control Program has been completed.

The area along Huebener Creek form Bandera Road to 1604 is less likely to experience flooding now that the 41 million dollar project is wrapped up.

The County’s Renee Green tells us the project adds some recreational activities to that area with a new biking and walking trail and a park.

The money comes from the 10 year, $500 million dollar capital improvement program funding regional projects across Bexar County. You can learn more at Bexar Flood Control dot org.
