Hurd Feeling Relieved After Border Hearing

Congressman Will Hurd is feeling a little more at ease with the Trump administrations border security plan.

The Congressman heard from Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly on Tuesday.

Heard says he came away from the hearing relieved that John Kelly understands border security isn’t going to be fixed with a big wall. Hurd feels a wall running the entire length of the border isn’t cost effective at all.

The Congressman says Kelly recognized a couple of natural barriers along the border with Mexico.

He also says the Secretary understands the need for other methods of security and he’s glad Kelly has decided to continue serving his country.
